In addition to regularly scheduled events such as dinners and Bingo, Park residents are welcome to participate in
a variety of activities, such as trips to various attractions, shopping trips, and cruises. Impromptu hot dogs roasts
are often held in the picnic area, and informal street and neighborhood parties are enjoyed by all who attend.
Many residents have developed their own special interest groups, such as Bible study, card playing, or crafts. As
in any active, friendly community, the opportunities for social participation are varied, numerous, and limited only by the
desires of the resident.

We share all the benefits of total park ownership including all common facilities. As such, each resident has a vested
interest in the operation and the future of the park. The Park operates much as a small town or city, with elected representatives
to carry on the day to day operations and to help guide the Park according to the expressed wishes of the residents, and in
accordance with park covenants and rules. Dora Pines has a Board of Directors, composed of five members, who are elected
to two year terms at the Annual Park Meeting held in January of each year. All Board Meetings are open, and residents are
encouraged to attend and actively participate in these meetings.
